I am sort of really curious how trance music sounds to people as it is on a frequency that destroys my ears (I mean literally! My deafness cannot process). I assume that it depends on the ear membranes to hear it properly. That is a small sidenote :') ! However, DJs are prolific when it comes to music education and my area had an equivalent for indie progressive rock back when it was a genre for niche thematic bands that weren't popular. I didn't listen to him much but he created an entire music taste for my mum who was a uni student when the DJ was hired for a radio station. Other stations had similar roles, obviously, but he bent the rules and broadcast stuff that the USSR party did not fancy much (they also liked him so that is how you defeat fascism - play some bangers).

My musical taste comes from being a nerd - I used to listen to AMVs a lot and back when amv.org still existed, which is how I discovered many bands. Yep, I also was into J-Rock at the time but not far out of mainstream as L'arc en~ Ciel was my fave (I hope I spelt that right). Other J-Rock bands and artists that I liked were featured on Detective Conan which was my obsession as a teenager because of Doyle and Christie.

I like genres which are hyperpop, house, hip-hop, digital hardcore... some rock too. and femtanyl the musician.
