It could be something that you've seen or experienced lately, a conversation you heard or perhaps just a thought or realisation of sorts. |

I was having this conversation with my mom about English and how so many people will make those videos or posts like "10 non-translatable words that you need to know" and everyone in the comments will be like "Wow we need this in English we don't have words like this in English" when we LITERALLY DO. English is such an adaptable language and we have so many intricacies that people just don't think about. Really I think people mean to say that they want more specific nouns, not that we don't have enough words. And personally I disagree on that. I feel that we should utilize the enormous vocabulary of adjectives and modifiers that we have in English to describe things, rather than using hyper-specific-single-use words that struggle to encapsulate the enormous breadth of human life. Okay hopping off my soapbox I just really like yapping about yapping :>

When I was volunteering in the garden for Spring, I was told to pull out weeds, which was so fun to do. It made me want to grow my own flowers, especially Gerbera Daisies my favorite flower. Also I found an author her name is Andrea Dworkin I struggle with complicated books but I wanna read what she says cuz it looks interesting and I agree with her on many things but IDK much about her yet Last edited on 2026-08-27 23:19:24
