crochet/thrifted lace mothman… cosplay??

idk if cosplay is the right word lmao, but i’m working on a mostly crochet mothman fit!! i’m really excited about it, i’ve had the idea for probably like 2 years?? but i’ve had so much trouble finding a pattern for the top that i liked and also looked good on me, but i think i finally found one that works and it’s reignited my passion for it this whole project!! i’m almost done the top, and if i end up liking it as much as i think i will when it’s done i’m excited to move forward with the project!! i’m probably gonna make a page on my neocities with updates and pics,,,,, ahhhhh i’m having fun with it!!!!

skirt, maxi length, i’m thinking a peasant style tiered situation with four tiers, 1 and 3 being fabric and 2 and 4 being crochet/knit/old lace

some kind of fluffy ruff

antennae, wires and fluffy yarn

and the biggest piece, a mothwing shawl, mixed crochet, knit, thrifted lace, and whatever else i can come up with!!

i’m super excited about this project, i’m thrilled to finally be making progress!!
