Is there a character limit on these forums?

Hi!! I'm considering making a topic for sharing profile layouts. This is my first post here, and as I'm typing, I don't see any visible character limit...but I remember what it was like setting up new topics back when I frequented roleplay forums, and I just wanna be sure I don't need to make multiple "THIS POST IS RESERVED" replies to my own topic in order to secure enough character space xD so yep, is there a character limit I should be aware of?
